A few months ago I wrote a post on new Hollywood darling, Kenyan actress Lupita Nyong’o. I illustrated how her personal style was in perfect fitting with the Kitty Ferreira brand- a natural beauty for naturally dyed and sustainably made clothes. In continuum with the theme, I’ve put together a list of A listers with great style that would also be in the Kitty Ferreira styling wish list.

Kerry Washington – Mrs President

Kerry Washington made her fictional political entrance on the world stage as character ‘Olivia Pope’ a professional Fixer on TV series ‘Scandal’. As well as television, Washington as add a stellar movie career including roles in major motion pictures like ‘The King of Scotland’, ‘Django Unchained’ and ‘Ray’. Her ‘Scandal’ character’s no nonsense attitude is as serious as her wardrobe. Kitty Ferreira’s collection of shirts, like this Pomonion Shirt pictured [R], would add a hint of spice to her already distinctive White House look.

Jessica Biel – Girl Next Door

American actress Jessica Biel is probably just as best known for her looks as she is for her movie roles and her marriage to a certain Justin Timberlake. She represents good clean, wholesome, all American girl next door, with a killer frame. Her athletic body is the envy of many and the clothes that get to drape that frame look good on it. Her style is very understated yet chic and glamourous. In this look she pulls off the billowing trouser in plain white but would also pull off a bolder colour like the Kitty Ferreira Pomonion Trousers [R], in keeping with the casual but smart wide-leg trouser style.

Ajak Deng – Elegant Dark Beauty

Sudanese born, Australian based Model Ajak Deng burst onto the modelling scene back in 2008 and hasn’t looked back since. She has appeared on runway shows in Paris and London fashion weeks, has been on the cover of Vogue Italia and i-D and in advertising campaigns for Kenzo, CK and Topshop. Plus she has that glowing dark skin that pops off the page in editorials. Her off-duty look here is right up my street, her sheer skirt is in keeping with the Kitty Ferreira’s very own sheer Pomonion Skirt with it’s shortened, just above the knee silk lining, showing just the right amount of leg.

Christina Hendricks – Ms VaVaVoom

“Mad Men” star Christina Hendricks, who plays the voluptuous ‘Joan Holloway’ on the hit show, has the kind of figure that you can’t ignore. The curvaceous redhead bombshell’s hourglass figure is a dream in clothes too, she pulls off those 60’s office looks like no one else. The obvious piece in the Kitty Ferreira collection that would fit her best is the Delice Dress pictured [R]. With a sexy yet demure plunging neckline and pretty pleats,  hands down this dress belongs to her.

Freida Pinto – Edgy Young Thing

Indian actress Freida Pinto burst onto the scene six years ago in her breakthrough international film role in ‘Slumdog Millionaire’. She has since then been photographed for many fashion brands and been a spokesmodel for beauty brands such as L’Oreal. Her style is youthful, girl about town but slick. Her purple trousers reminds me of the Zephania Trousers pictured [R], with a slight slouchy yet tailored silhouette. A great addition to the Kitty Ferreira style wish list.
